Director
Paul S.L Yates has a BA degree at Robert Gordons University in Photographic and Electronic Media, completed the Directors Course in Motion Picture Production at the Brighton Film School and attended a short course in film business at Ealing Studios. Paul was a National Communications Officer in Scotland before working as Acquisitions Coordinator at DevilWorks, has six years of Film Market experience and has attended EFM, Cannes & AFM.

Netto Fernandes
Acquisitions Coordinator
Netto Fernandes has a BA degree of Arts at Universidade Católica do Salvador (Brazil), an MBA degree in Strategic Marketing at Centro Interamericano de Desenvolvimento (Brazil), and a postgraduate degree in Translation Studies at Universidade Nova de Lisboa (Portugal). Netto has years of experience as a Media Director and Executive Theatre Producer.

Abbie Hills
Head of Communications
Abbie Hills has a BA degree in Film, and an MA in Cultural Arts Management, and has a diploma in Equality and Diversity. Abbie founded The Dazey Hills Company in 2019 – A talent agency and production company based in Hampshire, UK. Abbie joined MSC as Head Of Communications in January 2021.

Martins Daknis
Market Coordinator
Martins Daknis, known as Marty, has a BA (hons) degree at Glasgow School of Art in Product & Service design. Marty has over 6 years of design experience, including work with international clients in the arts & music industry. As well as his work with MSC as market coordinator Marty also runs his own design consultancy “MaDa – Strategy & Branding” in Copenhagen, DK.

Tessa Williams
Head of Social Media
Tessa has a BA degree in Film Studies from Aberystwyth University and a Master’s in Scriptwriting. Tessa has seen 90% of films in existence and is always on the hunt for new ones. She is an avid film reviewer and writer. Tessa manages our Twitter and administration.

Rory MacDonald
Contracts Manager
Rory MacDonald has an LLB and Postgraduate diploma in Scots Law together with an MA in Literature from the University of Glasgow. Based in Toronto, he has worked in a junior capacity for a variety of law firms. He has also contributed to a number of creative projects as a writer and performer during his years in Scotland.
